Module pin-out information

#1 by DomsL200 , Tue Jun 28, 2022 3:36 pm

Hi. I believe the attached picture of this module, located in my drivers footwell below the fuse box, is of the immobiliser/alarm system. As far as I am aware, I have neither fitted on my truck. Does anyone know if there is a pair of wires here that I can use as “lock” and “unlock” command wires for an eBay central locking system. I have everything wired in ok, I think, just looking to pick up a pair of signal wires.
Any thoughts-ideas much appreciated and thanks in advance to all who take the time to read this.

I believe the wires required have silver hoops on them . There is definitely a post on the forum about it somewhere as I've seen it . I too also have an ebay central locking system still to fit so would be good to see how you get on

Thanks. I’ll take a look. I was hoping to find a schematic for said module but I’ve read most on here cut into the door loom wiring. I’ll take some pics as I go and post an “idiots guide to wiring central locking in an L200” just in case I ever have to do it again!
Thanks again

Found this here on the forum. It worked a treat. Took almost as long to remove all the plastic to access the harness but, once I fiddled it through into the footwell I was able to make my connections and everything is working well.

I’m a happy chap.
