removing leafs

ok after reading a few threds iv seen that its possible to remove a couple leafs from my hd springs this lowering the back and giving me some kind of a comfortable ride, just wondered if anyone had any advice on how best to do this and what leafs to remove? I had HD springs 4x2 and want to remove 2 leafs? an help would be great can't cope with the ride any longer

I have never removed leafs, but I did add 2 on my Ford Transit Recovery truck.
Wanted it to be firmer and sit a tad higher, which it did.
Should imagine its just the same process reversed.
