I have an A bar for sale. I bought it off ebay as mine cost quite a bit and I knew how much they were worth. Anyway after it has sat in my garage for a while I have come to think "when am I ever going to use it ?". So here's your chance to pick up an A bar nice and cheap. There are no mounting brackets with it, only what you see in the photos. Bloke I got it from wasn't sure what it was from but thought it might have been a land rover. So if you fancy an A bar and are a bit handy with making up some brackets then this could be for you. If you are after an A bar that will bolt straight on to your classic etc then this will not be what you are looking for(saying that, I haven't removed mine to find out if the brackets just happen to match but I suspect they wont). I have taken pics of it resting against mine at the front to give you an idea of it's size etc in comparison to mine and have taken pics of the brackets too to give you an idea. I have no idea what it would cost to post but can wrap it for a courier etc but would need a postcode etc to find out I guess. Always happy to take it to a meet to pass on to someone else to use the forum courier service and I know Paulw is down my way from time to time and if I asked him nicely I'm sure he'd pick it up next time he's passing to take it further up country. I'm down in sunny Devon if anyone wants to collect.
Price ? well I reckon it's got to be worth £40 of anybody's money hasn't it ?

Nice A bar and good luck luck with the sale. I have similar A bar that would nearly fit my L200, this maybe a cheeky question lol but would it be possible if you could post up a pic of your A bar brackets and how it's bolted on. This would give me a idea of how they're supposed to fitted, instead of my trying to bodge it on to front of mine lol
Would be much appreciated

as far as I know the A bar wasn't from an L200 wintersun, no. But anything will fit if you are handy enough with making some brackets

I dont suppose you live anywhere near our new welding apprentices hotchef or skotl do you ? I'm sure they could do with the practice of fabricating some nice brackets ....... as long as they wore the correct eye protection that is ....... not just sunglasses like this guy -------->
