Classic Wheels and BF Goodridge AT tyres..

#1 by ANDYBLAKE , Tue Oct 01, 2013 9:31 pm

So I bought these a few weeks ago to use as winter wheels on my new truck... I have now discovered that they don't fit the new shape trucks..

The wheels are in good condition and have no scrapes or dings in the alloy, They are not like new!! Because they are not new!! But I cant see any damage at all other than the lacquer has lifted a tiny bit on one of them. its only a tiny wee bit and I was going to use them as winter wheels so it didn't bother me. They come with the centre caps and wheel nuts including the locking nuts and key!! The tyres are BFG's and have about 5/6mm tread on all the tyres. They are NOT new tyres but have no splits or cracks in the rubber. I paid £300 for them and am just looking to get my money back or the best offer..

So to re-cap. 4 classic wheels with decent tyres. caps, nuts and locking key!

Mini not included lol.

£300 ONO!! Postage/courier not included. I live in Inverness!!

You can Pm me on here or text/call 07810547778.

Cheers

Andy.

Courier service has quoted me £55.20 anywhere in the UK...So I will do a deal with you for £330 sent to your door!! I would loose money based on what I paid inc postage, But I'm happy to help a forum member out!! I don't think you would get 10K out of them though!! maybe 6 or 7k might be closer to the mark. but it depends how you drive I suppose!! I don't really know about these things as I'm a newbie, Which I why I ended up with them in the first place. I should have checked they would fit before I bought them I suppose. I'm a knob!! lol

Theres easily 20k on them if theyre not cracking onthe sidewalls, mine have done 11k now and theyre still like new, with sharp edges.

I will put up a picture of the tread depth later on. But Compared to my new ones I would say they are just over half worn! So not knowing how many miles they do from new I'm really not sure what's left in them. But based on normal van tyres that get maybe 18k from new I would say 6-7k would be about right. Then again I have no idea what sort on mileage these thing give!!

I was only going to use them as winter and off road wheels so they would have lasted me for years!!

Wow as much as that from off road tyres!! Is that normal? Here is a pic of the tread depth.. Based on your mileage there is at least 15k left on these ones then.. Should I put the price up? ha ha ha!!

Only kidding, but it looks like someone will get a bit of a bargain!!

Do you know what... I probably would!! Ask me again on Wednesday morning after the bidding ends!! I sometimes worry about folk on ebay pulling out of a purchace. Like I said before, I will happily do you a deal for £330 delivered, if the ebay thing falls through!!

Cheers

My plan is to buy new and keep my old tyres and re-fit when I sell the vehicle and then sell the newer tyres
