Classic Gearbox Bash Plate..

#1 by LezT , Fri Oct 18, 2013 7:30 pm

Just finalising the 4 spacers needed and the longer bolts ( unless you want to sort your own and use a stack of washers ) front spacer D.20mm x L.15mm x 8.5mm hole (two of ) and the rear ones D.25mm x L.25mm x 11mm hole ( two of )..
£40 delivered without bolts etc With a quick coat of Red Oxide Primer
£45 with the bits...... but they will be a couple of weeks yet, bolts being the bugbear..
5 made already, 1 sold.
Any after that ( bulk buy stylie) I will need 50% deposit and they will be made in 5's as that way I can afford to do them and get the same price..

All the bash plates just replace the originals, ( just much thicker 4mm against 2mm), except the gearbox one as standard trucks never had one. So if your front one is polaxed, it can be replaced with one of mine, same with your rear one, or the whole set.
gearbox plate will just add on to the factory ones too.

I know!

Although it was only 1230ish Afghan time, we were up most of the night as we had to evacuate our accommodation thanks to incomming attacks.

Spent most of the night sat in the shelter smoking tabs and talking and moaning about the inconsideration of the Tali.

Oh well, pick the place you work don't we!
