#1 by handymanat39 , Sun Dec 15, 2013 6:10 pm

Hi all
Is there a upgrade for the classic headlights ?. HID or xenon, coming home I thought that candles might have been better.
Many thanks.

Simple answer is no mate. The bulbs help but its the optics that are the main problem. I've tried Hid conversion, bigger bulbs, but ultimately unless you change the guts of the light unit it still wont project the light the bulb produces, forwards, ahead of the truck.

I had Osrams in my classic, they were an improvement over standard.
Have now got Lezt specials in my new shape, they are great and good value.

If you want brighter standard headlights Lez's specials are the ones for you(I use em). However if you want a million mile throw, spots are really the only way forward...
