I'm planning on selling the truck soon so its worth more to me to sell it as a brand new part than to fit it to the truck (and not get any more pennies for the truck with it fitted than without) otherwise id be fitting it - only heard good things ;)

I think you would get more for the cat in scrap mate so fit it and sell the cat you wil be quids in

damn...just seen this post....does it make that much of a difference decating....guy a my local garage seemed to think it doesn't make much difference on fuel, just makes bit more of a noise.......obviously id tend to lean more towards the guys who actually own trucks

Hi mate,Decat done last year defo helps on acceleration and general running of the truck.decat pipe £20/£25 and take your cat to the metal merchant and he gives you £75/£80 if its the original cat.A few months ago I got a S/S straight through side exit fitted. For £120 no boxes fitted and runs brill and not dead noisey.I would recommend just going straight for the side exit in future.
Both ways lets the hot gasses out quicker.

Best mod you can make to a classic, immediately noticeable in terms of power and acceleration, did it to both my classics. It didnt make much difference to mpg but only cos it was much more fun being able to nearly overtake things, so the boot was used more
