2003 Warrior Front Panel

#1 by Martee ( Guest ) , Tue Jan 14, 2014 12:15 pm

Hi Everyone,

Can anyone tell me if the lower front panel cross member is available without buying a complete front panel assembly ?
I have looked on the net and cant seem to find anything.
This is the panel that the lower rad support brackets mount to.
Have read on other threads that the rusting is a common problem and these have been replaced.
I am an ex bodyshop owner and cannot believe that these are not readily available,or shall I say that I cannot seem to find them if thay are.
Any help gladly appreciated.

Welcome to the L200 forum

Anyway, Yeah it's very common for those to rot out, I'm a panel beater and tbh I've not seen pattern front panel for these trucks, a few on here have fitted good second hand front panels or just plated them up

Hi mate, as said if you register from the forum you will see a lot more. I had the same problem with mine. At the time I needed one there were no new front panels for k74 l200s in the UK. This may have changed now but I got a good 2nd hand one form a breaker and welded it in. It is worth noting that early 01 trucks and before have different radiator brackets than post 01 trucks. I modified mine to fit.

I had my front panel replaced, but as Rob says, getting a new one may be difficult, and if you did find one it would be around £400.I got mine from a breaker and had a mate do the job.
