It looks like it's missing the hinges and the metal strip that goes at the back of the bed that the hinges bolt through. It'd be easy enough to use a sheet of metal if you can get a template or something.

And a couple of gas rams, but they are easy to source from gas ram specialist for not too much cash, £25 for 2 heavy duty ones I think I paid.

cheers for that colin.....been on the mountain top website to source the parts and they are bloody expensive, the hinge plate alone is over £100 and then theres all the hinges and struts to add on...still working it all out

The hinge plate is just a bit of metal. I'd imagine that'd much cheaper to get one fabricated locally.

And I think I might have a couple of hinges in the box of unused bits in the garage.

i was thinking along the lines of say a shogun rear door hinge? grind one side if the hinge off so u can slide next to the piece of hinge on the mountain top ? then cover with long piece of metal sheet or chequer ? if u can see what i mean but thats just the cogs in my brain moving but no worries its there if anyone interested cheers for the info sirs
