Start with the pipe with the little cap by he vac pump ... Should have vac or no vac....there's not really a wading like boost as that needs to be a certain amount, you just need vac..
Move from there to over by the other mushroom by the fuel filter...
Then to the two thin metal pipes that come up the back of the cylinder head...cap one and test he other, then reverse them, cap the other and test one, both should have the same reading.

i think it all goes a bit pete tong when i get to the sensors that are on top of the rocker cover as there is zero vacuum from these going into the metal pipe that runs along the rocker cover !

Dont suppose anyone fancies taking a pic of this area so i can compare conections ? me thinks my pipes are crossed, doh !

There was a pipe on wrong.

Before i get 2 excited what are the solenoids on the passenger wing for ? As one of them is making a noise like a gieger counter.

ok should i take them off then ?

I think i have the pipes on correct now (said that last week) but there is still zero vacuum in the metal pipe that runs across the rocker cover. I can have a better look tomorrow when i have a bit more time. Anything in particular i should be looking at ?

Leave them be as they'll do no harm, check the vac to both solenoids at the back of the inlet manifold, and then check what you have at the sensor halfway along the matel pipes.

Ok i have good vacuum going INTO both of the sensors at the back of the manifold but i have nothing coming out of either ! There is zero vacuum going to the metal pipe on top of the rocker and zero going to the diaphram ??

Both sensors have power going to them, could they both have broke at the same time ? seems unlikely.
