Breaking 2001 / 2002 L200 Warrior

#1 by Paulpen , Sat Apr 05, 2014 6:24 pm

As I mentioned in the newbie thread (Here) we are now breaking it after cleaning and taking pictures of it.

The album of pictures is here although im sure it keeps deleting some so if you have any questions do please ask

Picture album

From a very brief drive of it on private land (tax has been sent back) I can tell the following :
Air con does not work but unsure why
Symptoms of a noisy release bearing
Engine light on
Front bumper damaged and poorly repaired
Drivers mirror glass broken
Tyres are getting low and we cant find the locking wheel nut tool !
Rear diff lock does not seem to work (switch does not look like the right one to me)
Speedo needle bounces around a bit but ive not been over 15mph

Other than that everything seems to work including transferbox, brakes, steering, engine etc

Im based in Taunton in Somerset and the L200 is in Wellington.

Collection would be prefered but can post smaller items and am willing to try and pack larger items if a courier is arranged.

Not knowing L200s I dont really know how much bits are worth but we would prefer it all to go so encourage sensible offers ;)

This will be advertised on here only for a few weeks

Oh there is also a pair of videos in that album too - one of the vehicle starting from inside and one of the engine running

I wish you were closer! I'd have the rear axle and all the difflock stuff. I'm sure I could get it working!

My guess is the compressor, control unit and switch would be needed. Would need to check if there would be anything else. It would definitely have to go on to a pallet for collection/delivery...

Thats cool Rob - id rather do them as a pair so you can have them for £15 ?
Also all brake calipers seem to be ok - ive not had the wheels off yet but they dont seem to be sticking at all.
Bonnet - How does £50 sound ?
