Thought id get this blog started ready for when Ed and I remove the OLD engine and fit the NEW engine in.
Gonna try and do a step by step with 
Starts Monday with Engine Order + some additional parts
Tuesday pick truck up from Eds place on Transporter trailer

Everything was going well until trying to get the balance shaft out and take the fuel pump drive off, not moving!

Couple of bits to take off then remove the bonnet unbolt the gearbox and out with the block.

Ed is doing a fantastic job. 
I really don't know what i would of done without his commitment to helping me out.
I did get told off today for parts not being cleaned properly. This is my first major job I have been involved in and loving it.

Air con is Bolxed so thats been taken out now, that makes me a couple a kilos lighter

Nah it can't be welded Lez! I'm good but can't weld spring steel.
We are just waiting for the bits to arrive from Stormforce's truck and Dave should be up and running by the weekend.
Most of the issues we have faced are from the guy who was servicing it, not being sure what he was doing.

Got Dave's new engine fitted and running, then the rear crank seal decided to leak, bugger. Engine has to come out again!
