HELP!!! Hi all. The traction control lights on the dash of my 2008 L200 Warrior have lit up and I cannot get them to go off. Have been td it is the steering angle sensor.. Is this right? If so, how much woke it cost for a new one? Any help gratefully received. Thanks all.

Is the EML (Engine Management Light) on? It's a red picture of an engine.

When the EML comes on, most of the safety gizmos go into basic mode, including traction control. If the EML is on then you need to plug an OBD-II reader into the truck and it will give you a code which, in turn, lets you know where the fault lies.

If you have a mate with a reader, get him to plug it in and read the code (the socket is above the driver's left knee, under the dash). Otherwise, invest £13 in one of these --> http://www.amazon.co.uk/CAN-Bus-Trouble-...r/dp/B001CBBY7O

Oh! And/or tell us where you live and a fellow helpful member with a reader will probably come plug it in for you

And don't forget to join up, when you have a sec, so you get full access to the site

Have you had a code reader attached to find the problem?

If less power sounds like its gone into ' limp mode ' ... Which lights do you have on the dashboard ( and also is yours a ' classic ' squareish shape , or a rounder ' pram ' as 2006 had both shapes..

Needs a plug in to check for fault codes, not sure if SCV would put all the lights on, or just one.
