Stem seals

Anybody done the stem oil seals on a classic. Is it an easy job for an average skilled person.

I did mine on my 2.8 engine in my classic. Wasn't 2 difficult. Just gotta make sure the piston you're working on is at the top of its stroke so the valve doesn't drop in. I also used compressed air thru the glow plug hole to keep the valves up. Cos ur screwed if the valve drops in. And you either need an over the top valve spring compresser or a large socket with a powerful magnet in and a hammer. For removing the collets to get the springs off.
