headlight removal

hello guys i bought some led bulbs off fleebay and they dont work as headlight bulbs they are fog light bulbs DOH, anyway one of the silver metal clips that hold bulb in place on drivers side has came off i need to know how to take the headlight out i can see two bolts so far one on top and one half way down. Do i also need to take out the grille ? my truck is 2006 k74 trojan 2005 model year. Look forward to reponses many thanks guys

Yeah, grille off, two bolts out. You'll do it quicker than you typed your post.

well ive had a look and unfortunatly the headlight plastic its self that holds the clip in place must have been very thin so when pulled out it has snapped im going to install a small washer and tighten it up to keep the clip in place but for now the rubber seal is holding the bulb in place quite nicely till i get around to getting some washers. very easy to take headlamps out just like how lemmy said so much more simpler than my passat which is a front bumper off job!

Or do what I did...................

super glue the bulbs in

just a wee bit on each lug of the bulb as it will break of when forced to replace the bulb.

I "fixed" my broken clips that hold the bulbs in with one of these

and a self tapper in the back so they still work just like they used to

I just fitted the hinge bit of the wire that holds the bulbs through the clip before screwing it back in
mine have been like that for many years now

did have warrior, but crossed over to disco 2.
Thought I could see light at the end of the tunnel, but it was somebody with a torch bringing more work!
