Fitted Bonnet Struts, made by Lez

#1 by Bootsie , Tue Jan 17, 2012 3:01 pm

Fitted bonnet struts as made and supplied by Lez.Great idea, no restriction when under bonnet and no dislodging the manufacturers prop.
Simple fix, no drilling - uses existing bolts on hinges and bump stops. 30 minute fix, wish I had done it months ago. Universal fit for both Classics and new shapes, pocs below:

2006 'new shape' from new 66000 miles, no problems, just serviced every 12k miles.

Hi George
I can answer that for Mark, yes he did get them from Lez, Mark showed them to me when we met up some time ago. I will be at the meet on Saturday so you can have a good look at them there with Lez.

Thats good to me Lez.As they never failed the box anyway i will replace it anyway seeing as its holed.Let me know the total amount when your ready and i'll get it sent over for you.
I'll get the mrs to post off those other bits to you next week when she is on leave
