Does annoy me , as there are plenty of good , genuine people on Ebay, but then you get complete morons/tw4ts like this and it ruins it for everyone. Ebay was built on trust and now, unfortunately , its got more than its share of feckwits on it!

Theoretically you can only claim for your loss under breach of contract, and as you still have your truck then your loss is minimal
However, the non-payer will end up with a CCJ and is likely to pay up in full to avoid that.
I did this with a motor and they guy paid up and collected in the end.
Probably because he was using his wife's account so I sued them jointly.

Putting cars up for auction on eBay is a waste of time, your constantly bombarded with halfwits either asking the reserve price or making daft offers. If your doing it again I'd recommend a fixed price classified ad on eBay, that way your giving the buyer an idea of your expectations which gets rid of most of the halfwits, I've sold my last few cars that way and it also eliminates the trigger happy fool who bids in the dying seconds without reading the ad etc.

The disco will do for now,its what I needed,something on the road,ready for work.I know cos I've looked L200 wise there's an awful lot of shizzle out there.So I'm gonna wait 'til next year and take my time cos for my next build I will really have to start with a very solid vehicle.
