Alternator

#1 by Danmak , Wed Oct 01, 2014 9:12 pm

After kirton 2 weekend ago the volt meter has slowly been getting lower till the other night it didnt have enough charge to start it and all the lights are dim, after ringing round a few places am i right in believing there is 4 diffrent ones for the classic?
I have read somewere on here about it being a regulator are these easy to change?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks!

Well after an alternator from milners and an hour or so of fitting it and a few swear words the truck is back on full volts

Robert ill probably get it re-conditioned and use as a spare,
