Just seen this on tv it's supposed to re seal head gasket. Is it bollocks or what. Mines Ok just wondered if it would interest others.

Probably garbage.

If your car is worth £500 then it's prob worth a go if your head goes. To me if your gaskets gone then it needs doing right. Apparently the stuff can block up waterways and your rad.

Agree...as a temp repair probably worth a go...but read the small print, they'll only guarantee if you do EXACTLY what the instructions say!

There was a recent discussion on either the forum or IC facebook page and you got the usual facebook replies like "my mate put it in a year ago and it's fixed his buggered head"
Personally I agree with the other chaps, it might get you up the road in an emergency or allow Arthur Daley's to flog a knackered motor, but it's not a permanent fix, and it will come back to bite you in the arse.

Trouble is you need to be very very careful as it can/will bung waterways aswell then you'll be looking at a new engine

Just slap a new HG in there. It ain't a difficult job. An easy weekend task for a home mechanic including plenty of tea and Bensons stops.

I replaced my head and gasket as one of the first jobs I ever did for myself. So if I can do it.....
