Don't faint, but...

#1 by Tex_L200 , Fri Oct 31, 2014 1:59 pm

...for the first time in three years, the filthy girl that is my Black Betty has had a wash.*

I don't know what to do now... the muddiest truck in Chiswick is now gleaming, and consequently... I FEEL DIRTY.

What have I done?!

The conversation was funny though...
Car Wash Guy #1 (approaching looking dubious, calling to his mate): "this one, outside, how much?"
Car Wash Guy #2: "£8, 4x4, £8"
Car Wash Guy #1 (grumbling): "...is too dirty."

*she only had a wash because I'm getting rid of the canopy and thought it should probably be clean for the next fella.

Only because you would have had the World Wildlife Fund on your back for destroying wild creatures habitats.. You must have had half the UK's foodchain living on that...

You've just washed off its protective coating
You'll need to wash it every week now.

On a Land Rover the mud would've been structural.
