for all you leccies out there!

Fitting 12v led under cabinet and plinth lights, trouble is each light has 1.2 m cable and I need to slice a piece of cable in with choc block each end on a couple of lights to extend and fit transformer. I used a length of 2182Y for one but not sure if this is too heavy? Thought of using speaker wire instead, Can I?

Thanks guys

did have warrior, but crossed over to disco 2.
Thought I could see light at the end of the tunnel, but it was somebody with a torch bringing more work!

Top stuff, thanks Lee.
got guys coming in tomorrow to fit worktops, then chippy, plumber, leccie in Friday to finish off so wanted to get cupboards drilled and wiring done before that! Got to take a 3ft chunk of plasterboard wall off living room next and replace with fireboard for multi fuel!! Thought I had finished with that! Then carry on with bedrooms!!
