an alarming issue

2nd post still new to all this .
having bought a barbarian 2.5 did. and only getting 1 key with it i have noticed that when i press lock. the doors lock and unlock. they open .( yeah no shit sherlock) however the alarm wont work i wait the 40 sec it tells me to but nothing. open with key nothing. stick my arm through the open window nothing . i have found the led and switch on the dash and it dont light up . after some searching i found a piece of wire dangeling from the fuse box with a fitted fuse and the other end is striped of sheath but goes no were i can see . any idea's

The interior volumetric sensors detect glass-break, so waving around in the cabin won't activate them.

I'm wondering if your truck might have two different problems... is it a factory alarm or aftermarket?

the wire may be the antenna not sure why it has a fuse fitted though get a test meter on it

just had the base cover off yes it is a factory alarm and found 3 wires in total one black and red sniped from the loom one black wrapped over the loom and the red fused one.? think i am going to have to wait till the l200 tis disc arrives
