this sounds like a way to do it then ..... with LEDs it shouldn't draw too much current so would wire straight in wouldn't it?

yeh just tap into the barrel light low draw like you say mate

Like those ... shouldn't stand out too much on the chrome mirrors either....

how hard would it be to get behind the actual mirror , do they come apart?

got my plasma cutter the other day been practicing with it now I am ready to mod the tow bar

aint done much lately been busy tiding the garage and installing equipment shelves, extra sockets, lights and a pipe work for a air cooler.

any way the clunking and creaking is so bad now I need to replace the rear springs and the ARB has at least a 1" of movement in all directions! so I may remove it and see how the truck handles without it for a while.
