Rear diff seal.....

#1 by Hornstar , Sun Jan 18, 2015 8:37 pm

Can anyone point me in the right direction, how easy is it to replace the diff seal? I have oil coming out of the diff where the propshaft goes into it? Is it a hard job to do or a DIY job?
Thanks

Prop off.
Undo the large bolt.
Pull off the hub end and swap the seal.
Fairly straight forward. After looking at your other thread I'm sure it's a job your capable of.

And it's 216nm torque for large bolt. And you will need a good breaker bar to get it off.
