Hi gents, wile picking the wife up from work on the way home oil pressure light came on. so pulled over to have a look and I would say iv just lost ALL my engine oil, is all over the front cover and down the o/s of the engine. Engine ran fine no big knocks or bangs light piped on and that's it, any good places to start looking because I can not see any big holes in the engine lol 🙈 gotta have popped a seal, anybody had the same problem also I belive my turbo was on is way out because there is a lot of oil in the intercooler any help is welcome but please don't laugh about my engine s***ing it's self 😂

Was/is your oil dipstick in securely?? Mine popped out on the run and there was oil everywhere!! It is fairly common that they can pop out in these engines just due to the "0" ring on the dipstick bring worn, you might be lucky?

Thank you for that bit of info, it now is completely clear to me why my battery etc etc is coated or has at some stage been covered in oil!

More than likely a rotten oil cooler feed / return pipe if its around the o/s/f of engine. They're quite common to go.

Top shaft over the fuel pump side... snaps through the oilway, not a hard one to do fortunately..
