oil leak

need info please got oil leaking from what looks like behind timming cover [lower] from front of engine fuel pp side cover comes down at angle then goes straight down by bottom pulley on alley back plate there is a grove oil coming out there drip every second [engine at idle] could this be camshaft oil seal ,balance shaft oil seal or crank shaft oil seal pick up is 2002 classic any tips how to check before stipping cover off or is the only way

could be either of shaft seals mate without taking the covers off u will not know might as well change the belts whist it is stripped down

thanks pretty much thought that but one can only live in hope .am going to contact bloke who rebuilt engine in oct last year as still under his warranty

be nice if he did the seal under warenty wouldnt it.

u might be able to take the top cover off and peak in with a torch and mirror if needed but u can only see the top really
