New L200 Engine

#1 by Glassychic ( Guest ) , Fri Aug 07, 2015 9:31 am

Hello all,
After a drink driver smashed into my work van and wrote it off, and insurance of course did not cough up as much as i needed, i bought a second hand L200 that looked too good to be true. Turns out it was two road trips away from engine failure and now I'm stuck. Where do you look to get good value engines? Haven t the first clue as to what my next steps should be and I've blown my money on buying the truck in the first place! Any good advice greatly appreciated :)
Thanks,
Amanda

As Daz says ...... milners for a new engine or ks international. ...wouldn't risk a reconditioned one. What's actually wrong with yours....might be salvageable?

Its a new engine i believe, it started with oil pump leak which was fixed then a loud engine knocking sound.
