Hey, as you can tell from the title, I've had a pretty awful day today..

Got some new washers for the Injector/spill rail as I had a small diesel leak coming from there.

As I took it off, I could see the reason.. The numpty before me had bodged the washers and spill rail with superglue and dodgy washers.. It was a real mess.

I took the injectors off to clean the metal residue that was all around the top of the injectors, under the spill rail.

As I took out the second Injector, a load of the cylinder head came with it.. Nooooo!!!!

Anyway, half the thread is gone and now it won't tighten up. Truck is un driveable as when I put it all back together (it was worth a shot) the diesel came pissing out, as you'd expect!

So.. I'm looking at helicoil kits, mainly because I've heard they're decent and I can't afford a new head right now.

Couple of questions, has anyone here ever used the helicoil for an Injector?

Also, I have no idea what size of kit I'm gonna need, what size are the injectors?

I've not done this before and as the truck is my only mode of transport, I need to get this sorted asap.
