The light from them isn't brighter than standard , it's worse if anything , but most people aren't bothered and have them just because they look cool

I've had both and currently have the twins in

do they give better light output than standard ? ......... absolutely not
you can make them better by putting brighter bulbs in but they still aint great
are they a swine to get replacements for ? ........ you bet they are

do they look much better than standard ? .......... absolutely (in my opinion)

are mine fitted for their performance ? hell no
are they fitted because I like the look of them ? yes

Wait until you've been on here a while bud we get worse
Get them fit them and then fit a retiner burner on the front to make up for the loss of light
There you go two mods and two great out comes

Ed,

They look the dogs, in the day light.
L200 lights are like candles at night, twin lamps are even worse (no beam pattern on the road)
And cost about £200 - £300 to buy.
Get some Osram Night Breaker + H4 bulbs, way cheaper. (£15 a pair)
