Ask an Expert..... » torsion bars for K74

Hi all!

I've got a 2005 K74 2.5td double cab.

Its in need of new torsion bars, where is the best place to buy new ones either standard or upgraded?

I've got ironman T bars and shocks,seem to do the job, I replaced mine after the near side started to sag. North west 4x4 do them near southport and if you book in they will fit them apparently.They recon they are 25% stronger I couldn't bend either over my knee so can't vouch for their statement. They are Australian so they must be pretty good.

Don't ask me how much they cost,they were payed for longer than 24hrs ago so can't remember doh.

Just found the price,
£348 for bars and shocks,
£200 +vat for the bars / pair that price was at the beginning of the summer.

200 + vat T bars
48 + vat shocks each
Total 348
