Spray Detailer

#1 by robert3040 , Sat Oct 24, 2015 5:55 pm

For those who like a shiny truck

Local Tesco (Cumbernauld) were doing , Turtle wax ICE synthetic spray Detailer in their clearance section for £2 for 500mls.They only had 4 left so I bought them.Fortunately its Staff 20% off week so I got the 4 for £6.40 !
Haven't used this before but it's reviews seem good for a quick shine product.Check your local Tesco's clearance shelf.
Should be £8-£10

With great respect,I wouldn't imagine it being that good...there's a reason why good detailing products cost a small fortune these days..but,I'm happy to see the results of this.a before and after picci would be good...

I'm interested in seeing what these (or any detailing products) will look like when used on black bedliner

just make sure the truck is clean , a lot of peeps think the QD is to clean the vehicle , all you end up doing is scratching the paint .
so if the vehicle IS clean just give it a quick wipe first then QD it job done .
as daz says its not got huge durability but can be a top up to whatever you have on there to start , and by that I don't mean mud .
all I ever use it for is to spritz my machine pads and as my clay lube

when I had a plastic liner in mine I sprayed it with flash dash

looked amazing but was as slippery as slippy thing covered in slippy juice ......... just one of my many "learning curves" over the years

on another note, flash dash works wonders on ya snorkel just in case anyone has not tried it
