Clutch master cylinder

#1 by dazmanf , Wed Nov 04, 2015 2:43 am

Looked on classic how to but can't find it.
Need to change the clutch master cylinder and wondering how to do it, plus, to bleed, do I just bleed via the slave cylinder nipple?

Thanks in advance.

Yea and yes .
You have a split pin oon the clevis inside, two bolts outside, and the fluid pipe.
If your ordering from Milner you may as well do the slave cylinder also as I didn't when I did Mine, and last weekend my slave went and I had to pay £50 from euros instead of the £12 Milner wanted as I needed it on the Saturday so worthwhile doing.
Also make sure the length of the rod isn't too Much and that you have a lil bit of pedal free play. I got a Milner master and had to use the rod off the one I took off to get a pedal so be careful.
And bleeding is just like brakes pump pump pump hold down and crack the nipple on the slave repeat till clear
