2001 Trojan.

Need to change the starter motor and can't find a how to.

Where is it located and is it easy to change for a novice.
Is it a simple, loom disconnect and bolt off, bolt on?

passenger side at the bottom, three bolts 13mm i think top ones a bit awkward use two spanners and you need ring and open end then link the 2 together to give you leverage undo the the power bolt and slide off the spade connector about 20-30min job if the bolts release ok quite simples

And don't forget to disconnect your battery first.

Couldn't post the vid here but put it on the facebook page. On first start, there's a grinding noise with first key turn, then it turns over, have to pump the throttle till it catches and there's a plume of smoke.
After the grind, the rest is a different issue I believe.
Vid shows what I mean
