Ask an Expert..... » Auto box problem

A guy in the village has a 2002 petrol L200 (Trojan ?) with a auto box, he has had it since 2 years old but is now stuck in 3rd gear although he has reverse as well, any ideas what the fault is?

silly question has he changed the oil? Other than that I'm no help!

Take it bein g petrol , its the V6 ?

Not to my knowledge but wouldn't that affect all gears? and yes it is a V6.

might people often over look the fluid on the autos because it is harder to change
