Fault code B1401

Hi I need some advice I have a warning light come up and had it tested and was told it's the squib needs replacing I have looked through the workshop manual and can not find anything to do with replacing the squib unit only realigning the clock Spring.
I have purchased a new clock spring/ squib and just need some advice on how to set it up.
I understand that I will have to disconnect the power for 30 mins before I start.
Will I need a steering wheel puller to remove the steering wheel and is there any other tools I will require before starting?
I understand it's plug and play but I have seen videos were you twist it one way then the other to set it up.
Would be greatful for any advice before I start

Thanks
