Radio turns on but no sound or distortion all fuses are OK and power going to amp

2010 with standard head unit book says the amp fuse is under the bonnet and it's OK

Did work but just stopped according to the missus

As you say 2 fuses for radio.
25 under dash 10amp
18 under bonnet 20amp

Mines that old it's still broadcasting the distress signal from the titanic
