I bought one of these raliart style snorkel from ebay.....Yes, it was very nice......but the quality was really crap,so I deside to built my own..
....the grey is the Thai product,and the black it's mine....

This snorkel ends to spot no1(very bad point because of the ABS ATSC unit).......so I made it bigger about 12cm.....and the spot no2 it's better...

...the OE overlflow bottle it must be removed and a new one from Mitsu 2.8l td on new place...

Stefanos, could you do a "how to" fit a newshape snorkel for the how to section.

fair few bad reports about those ebay snorts, nice to see someones decided to re engineer them


05 warrior, veg converted, no cat, no egr, no silly steel bin air filter, blood red shackles and poly bushed, buggered

try 7 up - snow white did

What do you do for a living? You're obviously well comfortable with moulding plastic and steel. Wish I could do that

Alan,if it was the ebay product that was the better section.....but mine it's different (at first the thai product has the inlet from the rear side ofthe air box)and I don't want to confuse anybody..

What is the big black box with the handle?? its behind the airbox on the bulkhead.

I got the same snorkel that stefanos has but mine arrived in 2 pieces :-) but i just rebuilt the original one, wish i had met stefanos earlier as i would have used his new design
