Pram heater problem

#1 by Jon Grimsby , Fri Dec 02, 2016 11:12 am

A mate of mine has a new shape 2007 Warrior with a heater distribution problem, on all distribution settings it blows warmer on the passenger side then it does on the drivers side, I have looked on the manual pictures and they look as if the heater vents are from a common feed so I am confused, any ideas please.

@FoxyChris might have some suggestions perhaps ?
my guess would be something has shifted or fallen off somewhere behind the dash

I thought the same but the drawings show a common flap for both sides.

He is checking his pollen filter over the weekend.

could the heat, over time, have warped the flap thingy ?

Very possible but it is the same on the floor, screen and dash settings, looking at the diagram there are three damper flaps

No I didn't find that one, thanks for doing the leg work, seems a common'ish issue then, I will tell him to check that but like I said the diagram shows the flaps as been one piece and the vents coming from a common feed pipe.

Well I found a fix (for mine anyway) It looks like the heater core was partially blocked, a quick blast through
with a steam cleaner and it seems to be working.
