2003 warrior thinking of changing engine

Hi guys I brought a l200 2weeks ago had a new head water pump thromstat piston rings and a few other bits Boxing Day eve decided to spit oil every where thin I white smoke and lack of power opened bonnet to find dipstick had been pushed out it holder thinking of a recycling n engine to get rid of any issues as this thing is starting to be a money pit and only gd it a week any info would be awsome thanks in adance

If you plan to keep it buy a new engine from milners about £1850.
Loads of people buy so called re con engines, fit them and they go bang within 12 months.
Most are sold by Cowboys who jet wash them off and give them a lick of paint to look the part but thats it.

Cheers guys a v8 would be cool but use it to commute to work and back badenuff on fuel now lol 😂

TBH if I got to the point where I was going to put a V8 in I would buy a Dodge Ram or similar

I was really hoping that this experience was gonna be a good one after owning it for a week and a half think it gonna have to go never even got round to getting muddy in it

How much were you thinking on spending on it @Alexpotter ... as with a dodgy block then its not worth a lot . As a complete guess, Its obviously built up pressure to blow oil out ....are all the cranckcase breather pipes clear....allowing it to breath properly ...It may be a simple fix yet, where are you another member may be able to look and offer help

Had great experiences with milners when I had my warrior.


did have warrior, but crossed over to disco 2.
Thought I could see light at the end of the tunnel, but it was somebody with a torch bringing more work!

Im from haverhill not far from cambridge time and money spent for somthing else to go wrong think I'm gonna buy somthing more reliable then can investigate the situation
