L290 problems

Hi all
Could some one help me out
I have a l200 it broke down few days ago and now it's got bad starting with black/gray smoke and got no response from the throttle and struggles on tick over if any one can help would be much appreciated

depending on year , could be stuck EGR valve( if not removed )

Bit more info will be required , as Major says , year /model might help plus what happened when it broke down
