Hi, I own a 2006 Mitsubishi L200 DiD. Over the past couple of weeks I have been experiencing on an intermittent basis the engine spluttering when going above 2000 rpm. if you depress the accelerator hard it will increase in revs but struggles. Earlier this week, whilst experiencing the problem my engine management light came on and I lost all revs. I shut it off and restarted after a few minutes, it started so only revved to 2000rpm and got home. later that day, the engine management light went out on its own. I would be grateful if anybody can help me. Oh I have checked fuel lines and changed fuel filter

Have you tried changing the scv . Suction control valve .
