Hopefully the studs are to mount the mesh theft protection ??? I thought most were fitted with Glass tailgates though If it has been replaced with perspex/lexan in my opinion that would be a bonus

Collected the truck top today, one roof bar needs re attaching, tail gate window has been replaced with a thick Perspex / lexan hence the counter sunk stud type bits.
Generally in pretty good condition and a bargain at £150

Whilst there I also collected a Safari Snorkel for the princely sum of £100 ............ (don't panic I cleared it with the boss firs) cheers GB

Indeed ....... i left him a few things to think about as i was about to drive away .............. methinks he may be looking over his shoulder for a while now and wondering if that knock at the door is "them" ..........

Im feeling lucky atm tbh ....... i even won the euro millions on Fri .......

Did you get the diff breathers off him as well?

Top notch, shame you cant 'slap' people these days, this guy needed one,

Good score on the the parts though Dingle, happy days,

arseparts like that seller need thier teeth kicking in via thier arseholes, unfortunatly its rapidly becoming the standard on ebay if the seller decides its worth more

I wouldnt get too excited old bean ........ Snorkel was missing the inner wing plate and the odd bolt / nut and as for diff breathers ......... 2 bits of rubber pipe cable tied to the Snorkel that werent quite as long as the Snorkel itself ...............

As long as both diffs were at front windscreen height you would be ok i suppose !!

As for both the above ..... tbh he looked like he had been slapped a bit .......and had his teeth kicked in a bit ...... (they were pretty wonky those few that were left .......)

He did look like and come across as somewhat of a "Do as you likey Pikey" ...........................

Oh well, it sounds as if he just cut the breathers and couldn't be arsed disconnecting them.
At least you bought it with your eyes open, I think I would have been even more irrate if it had appeared minus some bits after waiting an age for it to arrive.
