New guy sayin hello

Hi all
New to the forum .From the west coast of ireland and only had Toyota hilux and landcruisers so far but im looking to get a mitsubishi l200 .Hope you dont mind silly questions about model differences etc.I have searched but i cant seem to find much info.
Clean ones seem to be hard to find here so i may have to go to the uk for one.any info on buying and the best models etc welcome

Sorry should have said... im hoping to get 2006-2008 animal /elegance or maybe even a diamond. it will be used for towing on the farm but will be minded as it will be my every day car too. so i hope to find a clean one. also considering an auto box . would be my first in a jeep. i think they are a 4 speed ? any info or advise welcome ..pros /cons etc

Budget is a good question...if i can find a good one here it is the best option , but they dont come up too often..if i have to travel i would need to check the details of each jeep because as well as travel/ferries etc we also have a vehicle registration tax here and its based on year millage spec etc so the price changes quite a bit.also the euro/sterling rate can make a difference so for traveling i guess £4000 -£5000 max

bike is GSXR1000 k5 stealth black.. What about the walkinshaw? are they a good option ? can they still take the same wieght and tow similar weights? i know they have coil springs as to regular leaf

Nice bike mate, I've got a GSX1300RK4
my walky is a big comfy rocket ship. Not sure what the weight limit is now with the springs but at some point I will find out as it's just a matter of time before I overload it.
If you google 'overloaded L200' you'll see one of my many efforts at overloading. Think it's the first image , the one with a boat sticking out the back

always liked the 1300 ...so much torque ...but the k5 suits my short legs

Yeah the torque is unreal, cant count the amount of times I try and change up only to find I'm already in top. I test rode a blade and a 1000 when I was looking for my bike and it looked like I was sat on a mini moto as I'm not the smallest of chaps. the 'sports tourer' was much more my size

does this look genuine? im trying to suss out models and prices but they seem to be all over the place.. most 2009 are much more expensive
