Can do an override switch if required...
Sidelights when it is just getting dark and Dipped Beam when darker..... really dark when you start up then sides and dipped.......... if you go into a tunnel then sides for 15 seconds... off again when 'lighter' has been seen for 30 secs............. or dipped if it stays dark for more than 15 secs... going down to sides after 30 secs of lighter and off 30 secs after that.............. most motorway underpasses would just be sides and then off....if it's a long tunnel / underpass........ unlike factory systems that just whack everything on and then off again after 20 secs..... with the driver in front wondering whats wrong with you..

sounds interesting Lez. As by law out here, you have to turn you lights on going into a tunnel, so would be handy.

But i loads of other bits & pieces need sorting out before i could start thinking about stuff like that.

No problem wiring mate, Have re-wired whole houses before now. I live a bit to far away though. Plus with this damn recession, i´m working harder & getting less money. I´m having to battle against all the builders working out of pubs. They can afford to be cheaper when they don´t pay tax & install crap products.

Thats why builders have a bad name, only because clients go for the cheapest quote. Rant over

Had a similar gadget already fitted on an imported mr2. There was a light sensor mounted on the dash about tax disk size, which had an over ride button. Worked in a similar way.
