ok i have the asx 16 plate my freind also has an asx 16 plate but lost a key fob ,i have 2 key fobs from an l200 65 year but was a rightoff ( my lads ) can the key fobs be reprogramed to a different motor ,been told by mitsubishi that they cant be over written ,,,over to you boffins ,,,the cost of a new fob is a little steeeeeep

Not sure anyone on here can answer this one as the vehicles/fobs in question are so new. I would phone a couple of other Mitsi dealers and see what they say , and then maybe a locksmith who deals with carkeys.
Is there a procedure in your manual for programming keys .. or the L200 manual ..if so try that maybe

thanks for reply ,2 dealers say same cant be reprogramed ,but that dose not mean it cant be done ,yep there new type ,just seems a waist of an expensive item to just throw away
