and you need to be below 8mph (or something like that) or it'll disengage itself

the 4x4/green light is all run off a vacuum system on these trucks, which I dont completely understand but there are plenty of more knowledgeable guys and gals on here that'll explain how it works

The green light saying wheel locked stays on all the time when I'm in two wheel drive so I'm thinking the front axle diff acuator maybe stuck I also read about the vacuum system on it maybe a split in the pipe but when I put it in 4wd and drive ten yards it all goes tight so I'm thinking the diff is locked all the time I press the diff lock switch and it just flashes orange doesn't go solid at all which I'm guessing is for the rear diff lock ?

You can't drive these on a hard surface in 4 wheel drive , they will wind the transmission up , causing it to go all tight, best try on a loose/muddy/slippy surface
