New Discs and Pads , recommendations please

Looking at replacing the front discs and Pads on my 2011 walkinshaw as the original ones look like they are made from cheese

what have you guys fitted ? what would you recommend ? any makes to avoid ?

EBC, black diamond,brembo,bosch,pagid,mintex

I'm only on standard discs so far. I've not tried different makes as yet., they need changed though so will be keeping an eye on this thread.

Can't really help also. I'm the same, still on standard discs but have moved over to EBC red stuff pads.
and find them great pad and also very hard wearing so far.

I've got the same kit as nick but I changed the pads to ebc black pads as I found the mintex pads crap! They squeeled all the time with shims and copper greased almost every week! Company took pads back

It now stops very well


2010 animal, 265/75/16 cooper stt on16"alloys, s/s quad exhaust, 2" lift, h/d rear leafs, Angel eyes & night breakers, remapped to 231bhp & 544ft lb's of torqs, larger black intercooler with hard pipes, k&n filter, heko wind deflectors, kenwwod fold out screen, oil catch can and more....

Not changed them on the Warrior but my normal 'go to' manufacturers for pads are Brembo and EBC ...


I started life with nothing and I still have most of it left!

heard black diamond are good, son and me fitted them to his vr6


did have warrior, but crossed over to disco 2.
Thought I could see light at the end of the tunnel, but it was somebody with a torch bringing more work!
