For Sale - My modded 57 plate Animal

#1 by l2steve00 , Sat Jul 14, 2012 12:27 pm

Wenn Sie hier auf Links zu eBay klicken und einen Kauf tätigen, kann dies dazu führen, dass diese Website eine Provision erhält.

After weeks of should I, shouldn't I moments I have finally decided I am going to sell my L200 Animal and purchase a brand new Barbarian.

Ebay link here - Werbung: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2007-MITSUBISH...#ht_3127wt_1139

I will genuinely be sad to see it go but on the plus side if it doesn't sell I wont be to too upset.

My first truck was an L200 Warrior on a 04 plate followed by this L200 Animal so the Barbarian seems the next logical step. Going back to a car is not an option.

I have always had good results selling my previous vehicles on Ebay which I believe has mainly been down to spending the extra time putting out a well informed add.

Take a look and see what you think, any opinions/ questions relating to add or on my proposed Barbarian purchase welcomed good or bad.

Cheers

Cheers mate, have you had previous L200's to compare or is this your first truck?

I have been more than happy with the one i have which has been a huge improvement over my 1st classic for both comfort and drivability.

I may be wrong but i was under the impression the only difference with the Barbarians was cosmetic.

Yea first was a single cab s plate in silver. Think im the only 17 year old to step out ot a learner car after passing his test n into a brand new pickup lol. (great having your own business.........sometimes) Then a 04 4 life, then a 09 trojan then this 12 barbarian. Smooth as silk, spec is spot on and ride is great. Cant fault her so far, also better again on juice. Also have a rodeo. Previous here weve also had hilux(08) a nav(09 for 6 months...say no more) and had a amorak on demo for 5 days. Barbarian is what i prefere to them all. Go for it. Look stunning in grey and ive always had black, glad i had the balls to change this time thanks to mrs rpg.

So far so good with all the Barbarian comments. Makes my decision to sell a bit easier.

Thanks also 'Thebeardedlady' for the positive listing comment. It has always amazed me how many sellers think they have a realistic chance of selling a comic, never mind a car with the minimal amount of effort and info they provide. I always remember a conversation i had with the buyer of my last L200 Warrior which went something like this -

Buyer - Hi mate, i am phoning about the truck you have for sale
Me - Hi
Buyer - One question buddy, is the truck exactly as described in your add as i will be travelling over 250 miles to purchase
Me - Yes mate.
Buyer - Excellent, there is nothing more i need to know.

Viewing was arranged, money was paid and everyone left Happy. I personally would rather load the add with everything a buyer needs to know rather than spend hours on a phone answering basic questions to potential buyers after. Do some sellers really think that by leaving out things like mileage, previous owners etc that no one is going to ask. Again, personally for me, if these obvious questions are not present in an add i would not even bother phoning or emailing a seller to ask.

further to the comments earlier the new barb engine drives way better than my chipped o6 warrior.
the power seems smoother and come sin sooner. Also the long bed means I can chuck my bike in the back without taking the front wheel off....result!
I'm sure you will love it!

11 Barbarian Silver, Canopy, Towbar, will the wife and weans let me drive this one?
06 Warrior Black 67K, Canopy, Ralliart Chip, towbar - sold

Got to agree it's a superb advert.... good luck with the sale, it's a smart looking truck - if I was looking for a new shape I'd be tempted.

I would say you`ve priced it realistically - it good money for a lot of truck - can`t see you having long to wait - have you ordered your Barbarian yet - they told me I`ve have to wait three months

They have one in white (demonstrator) on my local dealer forecourt so if mine goes i am hoping to grab that one.

Nearly 30 watchers already and missed a couple of calls today (bad reception) so fingers crossed.
