I had these sand blasted and powder coated it was £30 a wheel, would have been £25 a wheel but i went for a glossier white than the standard.

I used standard primer, paint & laquer 3 years ago & they are still ok,

I thought an etch primer was a primer you can weld through without any problems

Isn't etch primer used for a base coat on chrome and that type of metal

In Sweden its no way i can get them coated for that price and i going off road once or twice a month så the paint wont last foor long so it needs to be easy to fix.

I like the look of white wheels with green, had a green car myself many years ago and had white alloys on it, looked the muts nuts too
shiny bits still float my boat though

As used by Land Rover owners as a base coat before they paint their Ali panels - it basically stops the paint falling off.

I like everything except the wheels! I had white Oz wheels on a rally rep car in my yoof, but not on a mud plugger

But hey... your doing stuff to yours I only wish I could do to mine lol

Picked this up from eBay for a total bargin price of £37. Had to drive to Southend on sea to pick it up but did it in the wife's Little pug and only used £15 in fuel so £52 all in.





Bolted it to the tub today, very happy with it.
