That's not 2 bad then. That front panel seems to be the pitfall for rust on these trucks. Now u've mastered it you can offer it as a service. Lol.

As most of you who have looked at this thread my truck decided to die on Saturday 19th Sept at about 2030hrs.

I decided to build a new engine . So starting

Here are some pics I took. Not many as I was to busy building a FECKIN engine

Stripped the front end as I knew it was rotten aswell.

Just drove it home tonight & all seems ok. I would say the power is back as I drove up a hill in 4th when usually I would have to drop to 3rd.

So 28 days from dying it rises from the ashes & that was only working Saturdays for 9ish hrs, tues & thurs nights after work for about 4ish hrs.

Thanks to @marcosuk @L200allan & @G Jones for coming down today to keep moral up

Main road test still to be done.

Puddle of oil under the truck today . Went for a look & its really black oil but the oil in the engine is really clean so I think it may have been trapped in the x member when the old engine came out. Time will tell as I will steam clean the x member tomorrow & see what happens.
